Company highlights region-specific solutions and AI-powered home vision for the Asia-Pacific market
LG Electronics recently unveiled its latest innovations and strategic direction for the Asia-Pacific region at the LG InnoFest 2026 APAC held in Busan, Korea. As the grand finale of LG’s 2026 InnoFest series, the event gathered over 200 partners and media representatives from around 20 countries, reinforcing collaboration and outlining the company’s long-term growth vision in Asia.
Under the theme “Innovation, Forward Together,” LG showcased a wide range of products tailored specifically to Asian consumers, demonstrating how its “K-Tech” innovation addresses diverse lifestyles, living spaces, and everyday needs across the region.
A New Generation of Smart Laundry Solutions
LG is expanding its laundry lineup with a comprehensive range of space-efficient and intelligent solutions. At the forefront is the LG WashTower™, now available in a new 25-inch model designed specifically for Asian homes, alongside existing 24-inch and 27-inch variants.
The latest washing machines are powered by AI Direct Drive™ (AI DD™) technology, which intelligently adjusts wash motions based on fabric type and load conditions. Complementing this is TurboWash™ 3D, capable of completing a full wash cycle in under 30 minutes, while an automatic detergent dispenser enhances convenience by optimising usage per load.
LG also introduced the WashCombo™, an all-in-one washer-dryer featuring Inverter HeatPump™ technology for improved drying efficiency and energy savings — a key consideration for many Asian households. Additionally, LG is strengthening its commercial laundry portfolio with professional-grade solutions designed for high-frequency use, including a new HeatPump Combo model with global expansion plans.
Smarter Kitchen Innovations for Modern Homes

In the kitchen segment, LG unveiled new refrigerator designs that maximise space while maintaining a seamless built-in look. The Fit & Max concept features a Zero Clearance Hinge, allowing installation flush against walls without compromising storage capacity.
Catering to regional preferences, LG’s latest refrigerators include an enhanced Ice Solution offering four ice types — Craft Ice™, Crushed, Cubed, and Mini Craft — ideal for both daily use and entertaining.
Dishwashing is also improved with LG’s latest models featuring a one-hour wash and dry cycle, powered by QuadWash™ Pro with multi-angle spray arms and microbubbles for thorough cleaning. Dynamic Heat Dry+ ensures efficient drying, while maintaining A-grade energy efficiency across models.
For Southeast Asia, LG is introducing a customised built-in kitchen lineup, including ovens, cooktops, and hoods. A standout innovation is the Camera Oven, which uses an internal camera and intelligent recognition to suggest optimal cooking modes and monitor food doneness in real time.
AI Home Vision Comes to Life
A key highlight at LG InnoFest 2026 APAC was LG’s vision for the AI-powered home. Through its ThinQ ON™ AI Home Hub, LG demonstrated how connected appliances and IoT devices can work seamlessly together to create a more intuitive and efficient living environment.
Visitors experienced this through immersive exhibition zones inspired by real-life Asian homes, with design elements influenced by popular Korean dramas to create a familiar and engaging atmosphere.
For the first time, LG also hosted live commerce sessions during the event, offering partners a more interactive and dynamic way to engage with products directly from the exhibition floor.
Expanding Services and Regional Growth
Beyond hardware, LG Electronics is expanding its ecosystem through LG Subscribe, a flexible appliance subscription service. This initiative is being rolled out across key Asian markets including Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, and Vietnam, offering consumers easier access to premium appliances alongside comprehensive product care.
Asia remains a critical growth region for LG, and the company continues to invest in innovation, localisation, and partnerships to strengthen its presence.
“Asia is one of our most dynamic and important markets, and InnoFest 2026 gives us a valuable opportunity to connect with our partners and share our vision for the future,” said Jaeseung Kim. “Building on our technology innovation, we are advancing AI-powered home solutions that reflect local lifestyles.”
Driving the Future of Smart Living in Asia
With a strong focus on AI integration, energy efficiency, and region-specific design, LG Electronics continues to push the boundaries of home innovation. From smarter laundry and kitchen appliances to fully connected AI homes, the company’s showcase at LG InnoFest 2026 APAC signals a future where technology seamlessly enhances everyday living across Asia.
