Midea has united its Asia-Pacific partners under a bold new vision, “Power of One”, during its first-ever APAC Dealer Conference in Bali. The event gathered over 450 regional partners, showcased 150 products across five innovation zones, and reaffirmed Midea’s long-term strategy for smarter, more sustainable living.
Power of One: Growth, Innovation, and Partnerships
According to Mr. Zeal Jiang, President of Midea Asia Pacific, the “Power of One” vision is built on three pillars:
- Technology leadership through continuous R&D investments and smart innovations.
- Local-for-local capabilities, strengthening production and service networks.
- Partnerships across APAC, reinforcing shared growth and service excellence.
With these elements, Midea is targeting USD 1.5 billion in APAC sales revenue by 2028.
Five Innovation Zones: Smarter Living Solutions
During the conference, Midea unveiled cutting-edge solutions across five zones:
- Smart Master: AI-powered appliances with control via the Midea SmartHome app.
- AI Ecomaster: Energy-saving features that reduce consumption by up to 30%.
- Space Master: Space-efficient refrigerators, washers, and dishwashers.
- Residential Air Conditioners: Built to withstand Asia’s humid climates with Prime Guard™ protection.
- Midea Building Technologies (MBT): Large-scale solutions such as the VC MAX VRF and Magboost Apex chiller for sustainable cooling.
Strengthening Local Presence in Malaysia
Midea continues to invest heavily in APAC, operating 63 global production bases, including facilities in Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. In Malaysia, Midea is reinforcing its presence through quarterly training sessions for local technicians, community partnerships, and improved after-sales support. The brand also leverages the Midea Club App to streamline product installation, training, and warranty services across the region.

Driving ESG and Community Impact
Midea’s ESG contributions span from coral reef restoration in Bali, where over 1,000 corals were planted, to flood relief and youth development programs in Malaysia, including support for Persatuan Badminton Negeri Kelantan. Globally, Midea has also been recognised in S&P Global’s Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition) 2025.
Global Recognition and Sports Partnerships
Backed by USD 10 billion in R&D investment over the past five years, Midea has secured over 100,000 patents and leads in multiple categories, including air conditioners, smart home appliances, and microwaves. Strengthening its global visibility, Midea also partners with Manchester City FC, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and will soon be the Main Partner Sleeve Sponsor of FC Barcelona.
