Kingston Technology has once again secured the top position as the No.1 third-party DRAM module supplier worldwide, according to the latest TrendForce 2024 rankings by revenue. Kingston retained its dominant 66% market share, marking its 22nd consecutive year as the global leader in the DRAM module segment.
TrendForce’s report revealed that global DRAM module sales grew 7% year-on-year in 2024, recovering from a sharp decline in 2023. Kingston maintained its leadership despite a slower revenue increase in the latter half of the year due to softer consumer demand. The company’s strong performance underscores its stability and influence in a rapidly evolving memory industry.
Kingston’s Continued Dominance
According to TrendForce, the world’s top five memory module manufacturers accounted for 81% of total sales in 2024, with Kingston far ahead of competitors — the second-place supplier held just 5% market share. Overall DRAM module market revenue reached USD 13.3 billion, driven by increased demand for high-bandwidth and server-grade DDR5 products.
Innovation Through Performance-Driven Design
In 2024, Kingston unveiled the Kingston FURY Renegade DDR5 RGB Limited Edition, inspired by racecar aesthetics. Designed for extreme overclocking, it achieved speeds up to 8000MT/s, offering both striking design and next-level performance.
The company also introduced the Kingston FURY Renegade DDR5 CUDIMMs, fully compatible with Intel’s new 800-series (Arrow Lake) chipsets. These overclockable DDR5 modules extend Kingston’s reach to professionals demanding uncompromised speed and reliability for high-performance systems.
Statement from Kingston
“The 2024 TrendForce results highlight Kingston’s continued resilience and innovation despite market challenges,” the company said in a statement. “Maintaining our position as the world’s top DRAM module supplier for 22 years reflects the strength of our partnerships and our commitment to performance and quality.”
