HONOR Malaysia proudly announces that the HONOR X9 Series has been officially recognized as the Top-Selling Mid-Range Smartphone Series by ASEAN Records, marking a significant milestone for the brand in Southeast Asia’s competitive mobile market.
The recognition celebrates the impressive performance of the HONOR X9a, X9b, and X9c, which have collectively led the mid-range smartphone segment in Malaysia through their blend of design, durability, and advanced features. ASEAN Records, renowned for spotlighting regional excellence, praised HONOR for its innovation, quality, and strong consumer trust across the region.
The award was presented by Gillian Ooi and Eldrick Koh, Managing Directors of ASEAN Records, to Tan Pei Ling, Head of Channel Sales at HONOR Malaysia, during the HONOR X9d 5G Roadshow held at IOI Mall Puchong.
Since its debut in 2022, the HONOR X9 Series has consistently performed as one of Malaysia’s best-selling smartphone lines. Known for its robust build, powerful performance, and user-friendly experience, the series saw its market share rise from 33% in 2023 to 56% in 2025, meaning one in every two mid-range smartphones sold in Malaysia is now an HONOR X9 device.
Adding to the momentum, the newly launched HONOR X9d 5G has already made waves by selling out during its pre-order phase, surpassing its predecessor’s sales record.
The HONOR X9d 5G is available nationwide starting today, featuring 24GB RAM (including 12GB HONOR Turbo RAM) and 256GB storage at RM1,499, or 512GB storage at RM1,699. Each purchase includes a FREE gift bundle worth RM946, featuring a HONOR Watch 2i, 365-day Crack Protection, 1-Year Extended Warranty, and 1-Year Liquid Damage Protection.
