Now why I put that as part of my review title, and I have a reason for that. OK, Android Wear has been around for a long time, from the phone centric brands till traditional watch brands, surely there is one Android Wear appears in their list of catalogue, but still there is only a small handful standouts ones. So this time around, Xiaomi sent in their latest smartwatch, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro so that we can have a review at it.

Design and Display
Now pretty much the almost the whole body build of the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is made out of aluminum steel, not to mention it actually matches the color we got, a mix of gray and black to it, having said because of the material used, it does feel heavy as well, weighted at around 55 grams in average, comparing it to some of the competition, this one is real solid while some brands may still use poly carbonate, both material is still relatively have their own strength, reason, and the market needs.
The supplied strap that we got is the Fluororubber type, which I still say it is one of the most conservative yet easy to maintain even sweat or water can be easily dry fast and wiped off instantly. There is also a Leather type strap version available in brown color with many third party alternative straps available since it uses a 22mm strap.
Display wise, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro has a pretty large 44mm, 1.43 inch AMOLED that runs fluidly at 60Hz and it can get pretty bright too, at a max of 600PPI, which is great for outdoors and all your indoors gym activities, besides that it also supports automatic adaptive brightness mode.

I will get on to the experience, it is easy to set up, all you need is Mi Fitness which you can download from Google Play Store, install it and sign in/register with your Mi Account and if you have used any of the Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO watch or bands, all your sync data via bluetooth/WiFi will be there and carried over, so basically transition is seamless and details remains the same. Throughout my whole experience during the review, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro provides most of the essential needs, including notifications and heart rate, SPo2 stats pretty instants with low latency, while the GNSS/GPS gave good tracking even away from phone, since it has one built in to the watch. Needless to say the touch interface is simple and fluid, and whether you are migrating from a band or another smartwatch, everything seems familiar and simple. Recharging is fast, its like less than an hour to get it fully recharge as well and it will last about 2.5 days under moderate usage, Bluetooth turned on and automatic brightness, which gives and edge over fast processing and battery management via the new Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 Quad Core SOC. Sadly it does not include wireless charging functionality.
