HONOR takes the top spot in China’s Android smartphone shipments during Q4 2021

In terms of HONOR’s performance in China, the brand’s market share continues to soar after China’s ‘V shaped bounce, demonstrating that the brand is already on its way to becoming the biggest talk in town in the premium smartphone market.

The impressive sales of the HONOR Magic3 Series and the HONOR’s first folding phone – the Magic V – drove HONOR’s sales performance, granting the brand the top spot in Android smartphone shipments in the Chinese market during the fourth quarter of 2021. According to a Counterpoint analysis report, HONOR’s shipments in the Chinese market propelled it to second place after its public independence as a brand in the same quarter.

With the stiff competition on the global market, HONOR has made adequate preparations to combat this. As a result, HONOR returned to the top of the food chain of China’s Android charts after the launch of its first two flagship models. HONOR’s further participation at the MWC marks the company’s determination to become the largest smartphone maker in China, thus boosting its confidence to compete with the world’s leading competitors.

To strengthen its position in the global market, HONOR exports its products to over 100 countries and has 6 R&D centres, 100 innovation laboratories, more than 11,000 employees worldwide. HONOR has continued its collaboration with the world’s leading chain partners, including Qualcomm, Microsoft, Google, Samsung, MediaTek, and UNISOC, since the turn of the year.

Under the concept of the two-wheel approach, HONOR continues to move ahead with its brand vision of “creating a new intelligent world for everyone.” For the time being, the world will enjoy what the HONOR Magic4’s “Blockbuster” series has to offer as one of the smartphone market leaders.
