Magical Unboxing with Cinemagic

Last week, Xiaomi announced 3 models from the 11 series, which marks their new generation of Xiaomi flagship series of phone. This time around, Xiaomi dropped the ‘MI’ wording in their device marketing name. The new 11 series announced are Xiaomi 11T Pro, Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11 5G Lite NE. The 11 series is much focus on all round productivity, photography and performance. Lets go thru the unboxing of the Xiaomi 11T that we have on hand now.

Contents

The Xiaomi 11T comes in a white color box. Upon unboxing you will get the following as below

  • Xiaomi 11T phone
  • USB A to C charging cable
  • 67w Fast Charger
  • Soft Case
  • SIM Ejector
  • User Manual & Quick Start Guide

Do take note that the Xiaomi 11 series does not come with headphone or USB C to 3.5mm audio adaptor, but its pretty easy to get one at any of your favorite phone accessories shop, or if you have a current one lying around or any previous Xiaomi/POCO USB C audio adaptor, you can use it back as well with no issues. It is great to see Xiaomi still includes the charger on every phone that customer purchases in the box.

Color Choices

The Xiaomi 11T comes in three colors, Celestial Blue, Meteorite Gray and Moonlight White. The color that we got for the unboxing is the Meteorite Gray. This is a very nice to hold phone with a good weight balance of 203 grams, which is quite alright, but judging from the perspective of the components used and overall quality, it is acceptable. The phone has a good coverage of aluminum frame with both glass back and front.

The Design, Look and Feel

The Xiaomi 11T weighs at 203 Grams, which is on par with some of the phone weight, and its is fairly easy to hold and use with one hand, with the exception of typing, you will need to use two hands. The Xiaomi 11T features a 6.67 inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rates and brightness up to 800nits. This means using it under the sunlight or room environment is excellent with good overall navigation experience with the device.

Looking at the back of the phone you will spot an island of lenses consisting of one 108MP wide lens, one 8MP ultrawide lens and one 5MP telephoto lens with macro capability followed by the dual tone camera flash. Over to the front side, which is the main display there is one 16MP wide angle camera. All of the camera in the phone is able to capture wide angle images. Specifically over the rear camera you have a choice of video recording up to 4K resolution at 30 or 60FPS, while 1080P capture up to 60FPS.

Performance

Over to the performance side, the Xiaomi 11T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Ultra SOC, with 128 or 256GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM. At Such configuration this is a flagship class processor that ensures it handles the imaging capture and video recording capability with its surrounding competitions with good optimizations over multitasking, gaming and productivity. The 120Hz display will give you the responsiveness you need. On top of that you will also get a pleasant and loud audio experience with its bottom and top firing speaker with Dolby Atmos.

Overall on my few days of impression with the Xiaomi 11T, it is a phone that is suitable for those who wanted a device that is seeking for it’s VLogging, High resolution image capture with multiple modes to select from and a fairly high refresh rate display over its advantage of it’s gaming performance. At this point of writing we still don’t have the pricing yet, but looking at the specifications listed, likely it will be priced at less than RM2000. Stay tuned with the full review which we will be publishing it soon.
