Xiaomi introduces Redmi Note 10S Starlight Purple and a bigger storage variant for Redmi 9C, 4GB+128GB, in Malaysia
Xiaomi has announced that the much anticipated Redmi Note 10S Starlight Purple edition will be coming to Malaysia. The new special color is Xiaomi’s first attempt and is suitable for users who are looking for a unique and outstanding smartphone design. In addition, a bigger storage variant of Redmi 9C, 4GB+128GB, will also be coming to Malaysia. Redmi Note 10S Starlight Purple and Redmi 9C (4GB+128GB) will be available in Malaysia from August 3 and will retail at RM 899 and RM 499, respectively.

Redmi Note 10S Starlight Purple
Redmi Note 10S Starlight Purple is equipped with a 6.43” AMOLED DotDisplay and touts a seamless redesign and updates including an Arc side fingerprint sensor, 33W fast charging, a 360-degree light sensor setup and immersive dual speakers. Redmi Note 10S comes with the powerful MediaTek Helio G95 – challenging faster gaming, improved performance and GPU, clocking speeds of up to 900MHz.
Capture all life’s moments with the quad camera setup featuring 8MP ultra-wide angle camera for group shots, 2MP macro camera for close-ups and a 2MP depth sensor for supporting portraits. The 64MP Redmi Note 10S main camera marks a tremendous improvement from the previous generation and even smashes some flagships in terms of pixels. In addition, it is also equipped with Pro time-lapse, slow motion, night mode and regular time-lapse features.
Redmi 9C, 4GB+128GB
The entry-level smartphone is equipped with a massive 6.53” Dot Drop display for an immersive viewing experience and a 5000mAh high-capacity battery that satisfies users who want to do more and enjoy more on their smartphones. Redmi 9C features MediaTek Helio G35 for smooth day-to-day operating experience. Redmi 9C will come in Midnight Gray, Sunrise Orange and Twilight Blue.
Pricing and availability
Starting from August 3, Redmi Note 10S Starlight Purple will be available for RM 899 in 8GB+128GB variant. The device will be available offline at Authorized Mi Stores and other official retailers in Malaysia.
Whereas the Redmi 9C 4GB+128GB will be available for RM 499 and can be purchased offline at Authorized Mi Stores and other official retailers in Malaysia.
