Design & Build

The Tab S10 FE+ sports a sleek and minimalist design, featuring slim bezels and a uniform metal frame that exudes a premium feel. Despite its large screen, it maintains a relatively lightweight profile at just 664 grams, making it comfortable for extended use especially on scrolling and reading by holding on the tablet. The tablet is available in multiple colors, including Blue, adding a touch of personalization. Notably, it carries an IP68 rating, ensuring resistance against dust and water, which is uncommon in tablets at this price point. To the majority I would say that most users can adapt to it’s form factor and weight pretty well.

Display & Audio

Equipped with a 13.1-inch IPS LCD panel boasting a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels (WQXGA+), the Tab S10 FE+ delivers crisp and vibrant visuals. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate, providing smooth scrolling and responsive touch interactions. While it lacks the deep blacks of AMOLED screens, the LCD still offers impressive brightness and color accuracy, suitable for media consumption and productivity tasks.

Audio wise, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ can go loud and clear with balanced audio delivery when tested with few music genres. It does comes with Dolby Atmos support, giving the users several pre-set audio scenario to choose from with it’s dual speakers in the tablet or when connected to compatible Galaxy Buds TWS.

Performance

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1580 processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This configuration ensures smooth multitasking and efficient performance for everyday applications, streaming, and light gaming. For users requiring more storage, the tablet includes a microSD slot supporting expansion up to 2TB. Wi-Fi 6 support remains present along with Bluetooth giving the users vast majority of support devices when connecting to external devices as well, including the USB C port that support external storage.

Lets get into gaming portion, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ can be a very good gaming device thanks to it’s fast refresh rate display and the combined SOC that is prioritize on balance in efficiency and multi core processing that can take advantage of today’s gaming needs. We tested on Genshin Impact and it runs well with low mix with medium settings, able to hold framerate around 55FPS. For those who wanted to venture into eSports titles, this tablet can handle it for sure with even higher graphical settings.

Lets get on to the benchmarks, basically looking at the charts, though synthetic, it is clearly shown that it still can outperform or matching most of the tablets on the market today, indicating that Samsung is on the right track for releasing an efficient device that is much focus on balance between performance and new software features that is much appreciated for today’s and tomorrow needs.

S Pen Integration & Other Accessories

The inclusion of the S Pen enhances the tablet’s versatility, catering to note-taking, sketching, and precise navigation. The stylus is responsive and integrates seamlessly with Samsung’s suite of productivity apps. However, unlike some premium models, however do take note that the S Pen does not feature Bluetooth connectivity or air gestures.

This is optional, but you can add-on a ITFIT Keyboard Book Cover which includes a touchpad that essentially turns the tablet experience to a full PC-Like experience, we did receive it during the course of the review and it really enhances the ease of use when it comes to typing and navigation. It has good compatibility since it is part of Samsung’s recommended accessories and this just makes typing and authoring easy. The only minor downside that it only has wireless support and it does not have POGO pin, so the only connection that can be used is via Bluetooth.

Battery Life

The Tab S10 FE+ houses a substantial 10,090mAh battery, offering impressive longevity. Users can expect up to 21 hours of video playback, making it ideal for travel or extended work sessions. When it comes to recharging, the tablet supports 45W fast charging, allowing for a significant battery boost in a relatively short time.

Camera Capabilities

While tablets aren’t typically known for their photography prowess, the Tab S10 FE+ includes a 13MP rear camera capable of capturing detailed images and 4K video at 30fps. The front-facing 12MP ultra-wide camera is well-suited for video conferencing and selfies, offering clear and wide-angle shots.

Software Experience

Running on Android 15 with Samsung’s latest One UI 7 overlay, the tablet provides a user-friendly interface with a host of customization options. Features like Samsung DeX transform the tablet into a desktop-like experience, enhancing productivity, however wireless DeX remains absent, so you are not able to connect it to an external display or control the desktop environment with a PC, however you still can use Microsoft Link to Phone/Tablet functionality for device to device collaboration. Additionally, the device is expected to receive several years of software updates, including security updates, ensuring longevity and updated with the latest apps and games compatibility for years.

For those that focused on productivity and creativity, apps like Clip Studio and Goodnotes will give user an edge towards fast note taking, clipping images and unleashing arts, though certain apps included does have subscriptions to it, Samsung has included limited trial period to test and I find it useful since you can cloud save and sync with other devices.

AI remains presence over to the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ as well, with Google’s Circle to Search and Gemini, one can just search any information on the tablet’s screen or by using the camera, all will be displayed via the Chrome browser, while the Gallery hosts Image remaster for enhancing images, erase reflections, and of course the ever fan loved object/subject eraser ensuring removing subject and object easily without hassle and just takes a few taps to do it.
