Samsung Spatial Signage Enhances Safari World Experience at Everland

1

Visitors waiting to enter Safari World: The Wild at Everland, South Korea’s largest theme park, can now enjoy an immersive attraction before the safari even begins. Samsung Electronics has installed its innovative Spatial Signage display in the queue area, transforming waiting time into part of the adventure.

Powered by Samsung’s proprietary 3D Plate technology, the glasses-free 3D display creates realistic visuals with impressive depth and detail. Animals such as lions, tigers, and bears appear to leap off the screen, helping build excitement ahead of the safari experience.

Bringing the Safari to Life

As guests move through the waiting area, the large 85-inch display showcases lifelike animal animations that create a strong sense of immersion. The realistic visuals are designed to complement Safari World’s recent renovation and enhance the attraction’s storytelling experience.

According to Jiyeon Bae, Leader of the Partnership & Alliance Group at Samsung C&T’s Resort Business Division, the goal was to create a seamless safari-themed journey from the moment visitors enter the attraction. The addition of Spatial Signage helps connect the waiting area with the safari adventure itself.

The display has also been integrated into the environment using a custom frame that blends naturally with the attraction’s design.

Turning Wait Time Into Entertainment

Visitors have responded positively to the glasses-free 3D experience, with many stopping to take photos and interact with the content while waiting in line. Families, students, and tourists alike have praised the realistic animal visuals, noting that they make the queue feel like part of the attraction rather than simply a waiting area.

A New Approach to Digital Experiences

The content for the installation was developed by Klleon, which focused on creating realistic animal movements and enhanced spatial depth. According to CEO SeungHyuk Jin, Spatial Signage serves as more than a display—it acts as an interactive interface that helps visitors connect with the space around them.

By bringing immersive 3D experiences into public environments, Samsung’s Spatial Signage demonstrates how innovative display technology can transform everyday spaces into engaging destinations. At Everland’s Safari World, it adds a new level of excitement and anticipation to the visitor journey.
