LG Showcases Premium Micro RGB evo TV with TÜV Rheinland Color Certification at IFA 2026

LG Electronics is showcasing its latest Micro RGB evo premium LCD TV at IFA 2026 in Berlin, highlighting its high-purity RGB colour technology and advanced AI image processing.

The flagship Micro RGB evo MRGB95 combines LG’s proprietary Micro RGB technology with the α11 AI Processor Gen3, delivering improved separation and purity of red, green and blue colours. The technology has also received TÜV Rheinland’s “High Purity RGB Spectrum Display” certification, following independent testing of its colour performance.

According to LG, its Micro RGB and Mini RGB technologies are designed to improve RGB colour separation, allowing the display to produce more natural and vivid colours. TÜV Rheinland has awarded the certification to the Micro RGB evo MRGB95 as well as the Mini RGB evo MRGB9M and MRGB85 models.

The Micro RGB evo is powered by LG’s α11 AI Processor Gen3, the same advanced processing platform used in the company’s flagship OLED TVs. Its Dual AI Engine analyses textures and edges to improve image consistency, while Precision Color Enhancer helps maintain colour purity and smoother tonal transitions.

LG also uses Micro Dimming Ultra, which controls brightness across thousands of dimming zones to enhance details in both dark and bright areas. Combined with the ultra-large display format, the technologies are designed to deliver a more immersive viewing experience for movies, shows and gaming.

LG is also expanding its RGB TV lineup with the Mini RGB evo, giving consumers more options beyond the premium ultra-large Micro RGB evo. Both product ranges use LG’s RGB light-source technology to deliver high-purity colour reproduction.

The company says the expansion reflects its strategy of bringing advanced RGB display technology to a broader range of premium LCD TVs, complementing its OLED lineup.

The LG Micro RGB evo and other RGB display technologies are being demonstrated at LG’s booth in Hall 18, Messe Berlin, throughout IFA 2026, which runs from 4 to 8 September.
