realme always adopt the slogan ‘Dare to Leap’ which pretty much emphasizes on building a device that is matching most of the market segment needs, whether it is the price point, performance or the quality defined by the segment that is created for it.
Today we will look at the realme 11 5G, part of the realme number series that expand to a few models too, but this one in particular focuses on good price offering along with a processor that is capable of taking most tasks pretty easily with social oriented camera set combined.

Design
The realme 11 focus quite alot on the beauty of it, shining in glittering gold that really put this phone in its uniqueness combining with a highly sociable outlook to it. realme calls it the Nano-grade Lithography Process where it will show up it’s shine that mesmerize especially under the bright light. It also uses a multiple layer of plating process that strengthen the phone, but generally speaking the body and back of the phone is made of aluminum frame with plastic back mixed to it, making it fairly light at 190 grams and maintaining the thickness of 8.1mm. Another outstanding side is the camera area, which realme calls it Glory Halo Design that is inspired from luxury jewelry and high end watches from it.
realme 11 5G comes in 2 colors, Glory Black and Glory Gold. Of course you still get the standard USB C port for data and charging, microphone, a single speaker, side mounted fingerprint scanner and also a 3.5mm audio jack, which is beginning to be rarely seen, even on low to mid range phones.
Display & Audio
Coming over to the display, the realme 11 5G hosts a 6.72 inch 120Hz dynamic refresh rate display with 240Hz touch sampling rate. While then it also offers FHD+ resolution with brightness that can peaked almost 700nits under bright sunlight takes makes this an ideal candidate for scrolling anywhere with good touch response rate, albeit the sensor might be slightly slower when adjusting the brightness in automatic mode but nothing is too serious there. While the realme does has a good touch sampling rate, in rare occasion the fluency may take some time to keep up, which as long you are not opening too many apps at the same or session, it is all good. Other than that, it does support Widewine L1 which enable HD streaming via Netflix or Disney+, or any of your certified legit streaming applications within the Google Play Store.
Audio wise, realme 11 5G only hosts a single speaker that can hover around 78dB which is kinda loud but at the same time still performs reasonably well with pre-tuned settings provided by Real Sound Technology. The only downside is just the single firing speakers, however you still can plug in your favorite headphones via the 3.5mm audio jack or the USB C connector, of course you can connect to your TWS earbuds via Bluetooth 5.x
Camera
If you are looking for a phone with some slightly higher quality than your regular photo shootouts, this phone can just do it fine with its rear 108MP 9 in 1 pixel binning wide angle camera with 2mp of depth lens. The front camera is equipped with a 16MP lens that supports wide angle and HDR.
Performance during the day time is no problem at all, giving it all out especially in bright and well lit places that absolutely able to push out good contrast and colors, with good shades and shadow differentiation that can be seen properly without issues at all with most detailed information still retained within the images. During low light situation or night captures, the camera tends to boost up in order to at least be able to identify low light objects and still usable, however as long not zooming on the pictures it will just be ok, as far sighted subjects/objects may be slightly blur or not so accurate by doing so. My judgement still stands that this is still passable considering the effort and value overall that realme has put in so far.
Performance
Beneath the phone, the realme 11 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SOC with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Expansion of storage is possible with MicroSD card expansion up to 1TB while RAM can be dynamically increased with an additional 8GB with RAM expansion taken from the internal storage.
Software wise, it is running on Android 13 with realme UI 4.0, which makes a host of improvement in smooth scrolling and better integration with the Android ecosystem, eliminating some of the repeated application but at the same time realme added some of its own such as themes, game booster, split screen on apps, bubbles, Ultra Vision Engine for color boosting, just to name a few. However do take note that there is still some 3rd party applications and games included, but that can be easily uninstalled.
Experience wise, you can definitely use it all day long with it’s 5000MaH capacity battery in it. As you are using the phone, the OS and UI will check and analyze the priority of apps and user pattern, therefore optimizing your usage as you are interacting with the phone. On my particular activities with around 15 apps open, the realme 11 5G still can take it on just fine lasting me around 13 hours in average. Gaming wise, games like Genshin Impact will average you around 45FPS while MOBA based games such as Mobile Legends will cruise through no problem with good touch responses to it.
Benchmarks where it should be, where the Dimensity 6100+ provides a good average scores where it stands and still can take some fight on against similarly priced segment phones with 5G connectivity and good amount of memory that one can utilize.
Verdict, Conclusion & Pricing
Priced at RM1199 retail, available with all realme dealers and online stores, the realme 11 5G still can leap on with the design and the decided hardware in it, especially for those who wanted a phone that is well priced with good photography features in it, and also storage that can be expanded, this could be a good consideration without spending too much, yet it still can give you some beauty, socially fun and adequate power in your hands.
