Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5, Z Fold5, Tab S9 Series and Watch 6 Series of Family Preview.

Fresh from Seoul, Korea, where Samsung’s home ground is back with a grand launch of multiple devices from foldables, tablets and smartwatches to unveil Samsung’s grand lineup of devices that continues the awaited follow ups. In Malaysia, we are able to get a preview of the devices as well.

SAMSUNG Galaxy ZFlip 5 and ZFold 5

While one is a flip phone and another is a foldable phone, both featured the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, which is the same found in this year’s Galaxy S23 series of phone. Both of the model will feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X screens with up to 120Hz refresh rate.

Specific to the Z Flip5, one of the major change that’s overhauled is the Cover Screen which is now measured at 3.4 inch, giving it an advantage for the users to conveniently reply messages and expand the use of widgets, allowing more functionality and creativity. All of the models will now start at 256GB internal storage which is a good news, however the 512GB storage option are available too. The rest includes a dual rear 12MP camera with OIS and wireless charging support. The available colors are Mint, Lavender, Cream, Graphite while Samsung also offers Online Exclusive colors which is Gray, Blue, Green, Yellow.

The Z Fold5 came with a large 7.6inch QXGA Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen along with a 6.2 inch HD+ cover screen that inherits the same refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Besides the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, the Z Flip5 can now sustain better clockspeed with the newly improved Vapor Chamber for fast cooling during intensive gaming and multitask session. New flex mode support is also included, expanding more usability for multitasking and switching apps. Despite all of these, SPen will still be included along with improved gestures and scribbling. The available colors are Icy Blue, Phantom Black, Cream while Samsung also offers Online Exclusive colors which is Gray and Blue.

SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S9, S9 Plus and S9 Ultra

The Tab S9 family is the follow up from the last year’s Tab S8 range of family, which the biggest bump over improvement that we see is the inclusion of the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor, 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED Refresh Rate, IP68 rating, and of course, SPen is now included in the box along with the USB C cable for data and charging. All the Tab S9 models will also be protected with Armor Aluminum used by the Galaxy Z Series. Upon that Samsung will be including GoodNotes and trial versions of LumaFusion, Clip Studio Paint and ArcSite for productivity and content creators.

SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic

Both of the model now focuses on Wellness and Fitness, Personalized heart rate zone, with 5 zone measurement and advanced sleep coaching, the Watch 6 series also brings in support for BP, ECG, Body Composition. The OS is also upgraded with the new WearOS 4 with OneUI 5, bringing in modern enhancement, better security support for both Samsung Pay and Android updates. The glass surface of all Watch 6 models will be protected by Sapphire Glass. The straps is also improved with 1 click removal, and uses the standard 20mm strap which is widely available.
