GIGABYTE Launches New GAMING Series PSUs with T-Guard Safety Technology
GIGABYTE has officially introduced its latest GAMING Series power supply units (PSUs), designed to deliver enhanced protection, efficiency, and quieter performance for high-performance gaming and creator PCs.
Positioned as a “Hardware Guardian” for modern systems, the new PSU lineup debuts exclusive T-Guard active thermal monitoring technology, developed to improve safety for next-generation 12V-2×6 power connectors used by today’s high-end graphics cards.
T-Guard Adds Smarter Protection
The standout feature of the new series is T-Guard, a triple-layer protection system that actively monitors connector temperatures in real time.
The system can detect abnormal heat buildup caused by loose connections or excessive load, automatically reduce GPU power to prevent connector damage, and allow users to safely save their work using integrated graphics before shutting down for inspection.
This proactive approach aims to address growing concerns around connector safety as GPU power demands continue to rise.
Platinum Efficiency and Ultra-Quiet Operation
The new GAMING Series has received Cybenetics ETA Platinum certification for high energy efficiency, while also maintaining 80 PLUS Gold status.
On the acoustic side, the PSUs are certified Cybenetics LAMBDA A+, with average noise levels kept below 20 dB(A). This is supported by a 135mm fluid dynamic bearing fan and HybridCool technology, which enables fanless operation under lighter loads.
Improved Cable Design and Long-Term Reliability
GIGABYTE has also introduced a dual-color 12V-2×6 cable design, making it easier for users to confirm proper cable installation at a glance.
The new PSUs are fully compliant with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards, and are available in:
- 750W
- 850W
- 1000W
Both Black and Ice editions are offered, featuring 100% Japanese capacitors and backed by a 10-year warranty.
