DJI Mic Mini 2S Launches in Malaysia with 32-Bit Float Recording and AI Noise Cancelling
DJI has officially launched the DJI Mic Mini 2S in Malaysia, introducing its first compact wireless microphone with built-in internal recording. Designed for content creators, vloggers, podcasters, and mobile filmmakers, the new microphone combines professional-grade audio recording with a lightweight and portable design.
The standout feature is 32-bit float internal recording, allowing creators to capture a wider dynamic range while reducing the risk of audio clipping. Each transmitter includes 14.5GB of built-in storage, capable of recording up to 28 hours of audio.
Smarter Audio with AI Noise Cancelling
The DJI Mic Mini 2S features two levels of AI-powered noise cancelling. The Basic mode helps minimise indoor background noise such as fans and air conditioners, while the Strong mode is designed to suppress louder outdoor noise for clearer voice recordings.
Additional features include Clipping Control to prevent audio distortion, Loudness Balance for consistent volume levels, and three voice presets—Regular, Bright, and Rich—to suit different recording styles.
Built for Multi-Person Productions
The system supports up to four transmitters connected to a single receiver, making it suitable for podcasts, interviews, livestreams, and group content creation. It also maintains compatibility with previous DJI microphones, allowing creators to expand their existing setup without replacing older equipment.
Weighing just 12g, the transmitter offers both clip-on and magnetic mounting options for comfortable everyday use. It also integrates seamlessly with compatible DJI Osmo cameras through OsmoAudio Direct Connection, eliminating the need for a separate receiver.
