The Malaysian’s Choice of Foldable, Galaxy Z Series Arrives in Malaysia with New Foldables and Galaxy Watches
Samsung Malaysia has officially launched its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8, alongside the new Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9.
The launch is being celebrated through Samsung’s Haus of Fold Roadshow, showcasing how the latest Galaxy devices can fit into different aspects of Malaysian lifestyles, from work and content creation to entertainment and fitness.
New Galaxy Z Series Arrives
The Galaxy Z Fold8 features a wider cover display for everyday tasks and a larger 7.6-inch main screen for multitasking, gaming and entertainment.
Sitting at the top of the range, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra comes with an 8-inch main display, a slimmer structure enabled by Flex Titanium technology and an upgraded camera system.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip8 offers a more compact foldable design with a redesigned FlexWindow for quick access to apps, information and functions without opening the phone.
Samsung says the new Galaxy Z Series has received strong interest from Malaysian consumers, particularly the Galaxy Z Fold8 in Lavender and Graphite.
The launch also highlights partnerships with popular Malaysian apps and services, including AmBank, CelcomDigi, Gigi Coffee, GSC Cinemas, iQIYI, Maybank, Maxis and ZUS Coffee.
Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Watch9
The new Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is designed for outdoor and fitness enthusiasts, featuring a 47mm body, 800mAh battery, up to 5,000 nits brightness and titanium construction. It is priced at RM3,399.
The more lifestyle-focused Galaxy Watch9 comes in 40mm and 44mm variants, offering health and fitness features such as Vitals, Heart Health Score, Daily Cardio Load and Fitness Index.
Prices start from RM1,499 for the 40mm Bluetooth model.

From 14 August to 4 October 2026, selected models are eligible for rebates, Samsung Rewards Point Boosters, bank rebates and other promotional benefits.

Samsung is also highlighting its improved Smart Switch feature, allowing users to transfer contacts, photos, videos, messages, files and other important data to their new Galaxy devices.
