nubia Neo 5 Max 5G Arrives in Malaysia with 7.5-inch Display and 7,000mAh Battery
nubia has officially launched the nubia Neo 5 Max 5G in Malaysia, introducing a gaming-focused smartphone designed to combine a large-screen experience, console-style controls and long-lasting battery life.
Positioned as a 4-in-1 PadPhone, the Neo 5 Max 5G features a massive 7.5-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, offering more screen space for gaming, streaming, reading and everyday multitasking. The display also supports 1,000 nits peak brightness, True DC Dimming and hardware-level blue light reduction for improved viewing comfort.
Built for Gaming
Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor paired with up to 20GB RAM through memory fusion and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. nubia also equips the phone with a 30,000mm²+ cooling system designed to maintain stable performance during extended gaming sessions.
The gaming experience is further enhanced by Neo Triggers 5.0, NeoTap Esports Touch Algorithm and Magic Touch 3.0, providing faster controls and improved touch responsiveness. The phone also features a high-precision gyroscope for more accurate in-game movements.
For audio, dual symmetrical speakers with Dolby Atmos deliver louder and more immersive sound, while a Z-Axis linear motor provides tactile feedback during gameplay.
7,000mAh Battery for Longer Sessions
A large 7,000mAh battery keeps the Neo 5 Max 5G running through extended gaming and entertainment sessions. It supports 45W fast charging, Bypass Charging for gaming while plugged in, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The device also includes a 90-degree gaming cable design, making it easier to play comfortably while charging.
AI Gaming Features
The Neo 5 Max 5G comes with Demi AI Copilot 2.0, offering tools such as a Gaming Coach, gaming chatbot and smart replies. AI Game Space 5.0 also provides performance optimisation, trigger macros, key remapping and smart notifications.
The phone is available in Shadow Black and Cyber Silver, featuring an Eagle Eye RGB gaming-inspired design.

The nubia Neo 5 Max 5G is available from 17 August 2026 with the following pricing:
- 8GB + 256GB – RM1,399
- 8GB + 512GB – Coming in September 2026
