HONOR’s Humanoid Robots to Make International Debut at Malaysia Marathon and National Day Parade

HONOR Robot Debut Run in Malaysia

HONOR is bringing its latest robotics technology to Malaysia as its self-developed humanoid robots, HONOR Robotics A1 and D1, prepare to make their international debut at the Malaysia Marathon 2026 and the National Day Parade.

Malaysia will be the first country outside China to see the robots in action. Following D1’s appearance at the Beijing E-Town Humanoid Robot Half-Marathon earlier this year, the Malaysian showcase highlights HONOR’s continued focus on bringing emerging technologies closer to consumers.

Robots Take on the Malaysia Marathon

On 30 August, HONOR’s A1 and D1 robots will participate in different race categories at the Malaysia Marathon.

The D1 will take part in the 10KM route, starting from Pavilion Kuala Lumpur at midnight, showcasing its mobility, stability and ability to navigate different terrain.

Meanwhile, the A1 will participate in the 5KM category from KLCC at 7:30am, giving runners and spectators the opportunity to see a humanoid robot take on the course alongside participants.

Both robots will also appear at HONOR booths at KLCC and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur from 29 to 30 August, where visitors can get closer to the technology and take photos with the robots.

Interactive HONOR Activities

Visitors can also experience several activities featuring HONOR’s latest devices.

The HONOR Magic V6 Strongman Challenge will test participants’ strength by challenging them to hang from a pull-up bar for 60 seconds. Successful participants can receive complimentary gifts while stocks last.

The HONOR X9d Durability Challenge will showcase the smartphone’s water resistance and screen durability through washing machine and staple gun challenges.

Visitors who follow HONOR Malaysia’s social media channels can also receive a complimentary National Day-themed photo print, subject to availability.

HONOR Robots to Join National Day Parade

The A1 and D1 will continue their Malaysian appearance on 31 August, joining the National Day Parade at Dataran Putrajaya.

This marks HONOR’s first participation as a parade contingent and positions the company as the first smartphone brand to take part in Malaysia’s National Day celebrations.

The HONOR booth at Dataran Putrajaya will give visitors another opportunity to see the humanoid robots up close, take photos and participate in interactive activities featuring HONOR devices.

As Malaysia celebrates its 69th National Day, HONOR’s robotics showcase aims to demonstrate how emerging technologies can move beyond the laboratory and become part of everyday public experiences.
