Midea Partners with 99 Speed Mart to Expand Home Appliance Access Across Malaysia
Midea, a global leader in smart home appliances, is strengthening its presence in Malaysia through a strategic partnership with 99 Speed Mart, bringing its range of quality home appliances closer to consumers nationwide.
The collaboration was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Midea Malaysia and 99 Speed Mart, expanding Midea’s retail reach through more than 3,100 outlets across Malaysia.
This partnership marks another important step in Midea’s long-term growth strategy, following the launch of 18 Midea Brand Stores nationwide last year. Together with its existing authorised dealer network, the collaboration creates more opportunities for Malaysians to discover and purchase Midea products conveniently.
Bringing Everyday Appliances Closer to Consumers
Through the partnership, customers will soon have easier access to Midea’s selection of essential home appliances, including blenders, electric kettles, rice cookers, fans, toasters, toaster ovens, vacuums, and stoves.
Starting August 2026, selected Midea products will be available at 99 Speed Mart outlets nationwide, allowing consumers to shop for reliable household solutions closer to their homes.
Midea Malaysia Managing Director Mark Tam said the partnership aligns with 99 Speed Mart’s “Near n’ Save” concept by bringing smart, energy-efficient appliances to more neighbourhoods across the country.
Expanding Midea’s Retail Presence
The collaboration with 99 Speed Mart complements Midea’s existing retail channels and supports the company’s broader regional growth plans under its “Power of One” vision, which focuses on combining product innovation, retail expansion, and customer experience.
As demand continues to grow for smarter and more sustainable home solutions, Midea aims to make its latest technologies more accessible while strengthening its position in Malaysia’s home appliance market.
