Sony Expands REON POCKET Lineup in Malaysia With New REON POCKET 6 and Flagship REON POCKET PRO Plus
Sony Malaysia has officially expanded its wearable thermo device lineup with the introduction of the new REON POCKET 6 and flagship REON POCKET PRO Plus, bringing smarter personal cooling technology designed to deliver greater comfort and adaptability for everyday use.
Available in Malaysia starting 22 June 2026, both devices are designed to provide personalised cooling and warming directly at the back of the neck, helping users stay comfortable across changing environments.
REON POCKET PRO Plus: Enhanced Cooling With Improved Stability
Positioned as the flagship model in the series, the REON POCKET PRO Plus introduces upgraded cooling performance paired with a newly developed Adaptive Hold Design neckband.
The redesigned neckband improves stability and body contact while maintaining comfort, making it better suited for daily movement such as walking and commuting.
Sony also redesigned the adjustable air vent system, allowing users to optimise heat dissipation based on different clothing styles and neck positions while keeping the device discreet during use.
Included with the device is the REON POCKET TAG 2, a compact wearable sensor that monitors surrounding temperature and humidity to help optimise the thermal experience.
REON POCKET 6: More Cooling in a Compact Design
Alongside the flagship model, Sony also introduced the REON POCKET 6, the latest standard model in the REON POCKET family.
Powered by Sony’s newly developed Compact DUAL Thermo Module, the device delivers improved cooling performance while maintaining a compact and lightweight form factor.
The updated cooling algorithm enables stronger cooling performance compared to previous generations, while the redesigned neckband and adjustable vent system improve wearing comfort throughout the day.
Users can also operate basic functions directly from the device, including power control, mode selection, and temperature adjustment without needing to access a smartphone.
Availability in Malaysia
Both the Sony REON POCKET 6 and REON POCKET PRO Plus are available now through Sony Store BBCC, Sony Store IOI City Mall, Sony Store The Curve, and Sony Store Online Malaysia.
