HONOR Malaysia has officially unveiled the Magic Stories Awards 2026, alongside a nationwide photography workshop tour designed to encourage Malaysians to capture and showcase the country’s beauty through smartphone photography.

The initiative supports the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign by combining mobile creativity, community engagement, and HONOR’s imaging technology to spotlight Malaysia’s landscapes, culture, and everyday stories on a larger stage.

Magic Stories Awards 2026

The inaugural competition invites Malaysians to submit visual stories captured using HONOR smartphones across six categories:

  • Cityscape
  • People and Culture
  • Nature
  • Food
  • Hidden Gems
  • Animals

A total of 21 winners will be selected.

The Photographer of the Year will receive a flagship HONOR foldable smartphone, while two Master of Photography winners will each take home the HONOR Magic8 Pro.

Three Prestigious Photographer winners will receive the HONOR 600 Pro, while 15 HONORable Photographers will each be awarded the HONOR 600.

Submissions are open from 27 April to 15 September 2026, with winners set to be announced in October 2026.

Winning entries will be featured at HONOR exhibitions, selected shopping malls nationwide, and across HONOR Malaysia’s official digital platforms. Selected winners will also advance directly to the finalist stage of the global HONOR Magic Stories Awards 2026.
