Samsung Electronics, a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, has unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition, a specially designed smartphone that will be provided to nearly 3,800 Olympians and Paralympians competing at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
Distributed to athletes from around 90 countries, the exclusive device is designed to support athletes throughout their entire Games journey — from daily life in the Olympic Village to capturing unforgettable competition and medal moments.
A key highlight is the Victory Selfie, which will make its Winter Olympics debut at Milano Cortina 2026. For the first time, the feature will also expand to team sports, allowing athletes to capture and share podium moments together from their own perspective. Selected National Olympic Committees will also participate in the new Victory Profile, a storytelling initiative featuring athlete portraits captured with the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition combines Samsung’s foldable innovation with Galaxy AI, featuring an edge-to-edge FlexWindow for easy one-handed use. Key features include a 50MP wide and 12MP ultra-wide dual camera system, AI-powered Photo Assist, on-device Interpreter for real-time translation without network connectivity, and Now Brief, which delivers personalised daily updates.
The special edition showcases a distinctive design inspired by the Olympic spirit, featuring a signature blue back glass, a custom gold metal frame, and a clear case accented with gold laurel motifs symbolising victory. Exclusive Milano Cortina 2026 wallpapers and custom animations further enhance the Olympic-themed experience.
Athletes will also benefit from a suite of pre-loaded apps and services, including Galaxy Athlete Card for community engagement, 100GB 5G eSIM connectivity, Samsung Wallet digital passes, and Athlete365 integration for performance and mental wellness support. Additional apps are designed to improve daily convenience and training within the Olympic and Paralympic Villages.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition will be distributed at Olympic Villages across six host cities starting 30 January 2026, with Samsung Open Stations providing on-site technical support for athletes throughout the Games.
