Marking its 90th anniversary, Kärcher Cleaning Systems Sdn. Bhd. reinforced its commitment to sustainability and community care by sponsoring professional cleaning equipment worth RM40,592 to Zoo Negara. The handover, held on 19 December, formalised a partnership aimed at elevating the zoo’s cleaning standards with efficient, eco-conscious solutions.
The contribution includes the HD 6/15 G Classic petrol-powered pressure washer, LB 930/36 BP cordless leaf blower with high-performance batteries, and the HT 3.420 Hose Trolley Kit (5/8). Designed for demanding outdoor environments, the equipment supports daily maintenance across animal enclosures, walkways, landscaped areas and service zones—delivering powerful performance with reduced environmental impact.
The HD 6/15 G Classic provides robust, independent high-pressure cleaning ideal for large outdoor spaces. The LB 930/36 BP offers strong yet quiet debris clearing, minimising disturbance to animals, while the hose trolley improves efficiency and organisation for frequent cleaning tasks.
The programme began with a hands-on CSR cleaning activity, where Kärcher’s team used the donated machines to improve cleanliness across selected areas of the zoo—demonstrating how advanced tools can enhance productivity and outcomes. A formal handover ceremony followed, attended by YBhg. Dato’ Sr. Zaharin Md. Arif, President of the Malaysian Zoological Society, YBhg. Datuk Rosly Lana, Deputy President, and Ms. Lydia Ng, Head of Marketing at Kärcher Malaysia.
