ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia has officially opened pre-orders for its latest handheld gaming devices, the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X. Developed in partnership with Xbox, these new handhelds combine the best of console and PC gaming, offering serious next-gen performance boosts and improved battery life.
Pre-Orders and Launch Promotions
Pre-orders for both models begin at 8.15PM on 3 October 2025 via the ASUS e-Store, before expanding to authorised resellers from 6–15 October 2025. Early customers will receive an exclusive pre-order bundle worth RM999, which includes:

- ROG Xbox Ally series screen protector
- 512GB microSD card
- 2-year Perfect Warranty with accidental damage protection

Next-Gen Performance
- The ROG Xbox Ally X (RM4,299) is powered by the new AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme Processor, offering up to 30% better performance in AAA titles like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Doom: The Dark Ages, plus twice the battery life in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
- The ROG Xbox Ally (RM2,699) runs on the AMD Ryzen Z2 A Processor, delivering up to 20% higher performance in games such as Forza Horizon 5 and Gears of War: Reloaded, with a significant battery upgrade compared to its predecessor.
Both models feature a 7-inch FHD 120Hz display with AMD FreeSync Premium, Xbox-inspired ergonomic grips, and support for AMD’s latest graphical technologies like FSR, RSR, and AFMF frame generation. The Ally X also comes with an onboard NPU, ensuring it’s future-ready for AI-powered game enhancements.
