Design and Build
At first glance, the Galaxy S25 FE carries Samsung’s familiar flagship DNA with a clean, minimalist aesthetic. The device feels premium in hand, with a solid aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass protection on both sides. It’s available in a selection of stylish colors that appeal to younger users and those looking for a trendy daily driver.
Despite being a “Fan Edition,” the phone doesn’t compromise much on durability. With an IP68 rating, it’s resistant to dust and water splashes, making it reliable for everyday use.
Display

The 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is one of the highlights here. It offers FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 2600 nits of peak brightness, ensuring smooth visuals and excellent readability even under Malaysia’s bright outdoor conditions. Watching videos and scrolling through apps feels fluid, and the vivid colors stay true to Samsung’s reputation for high-quality screens.
Performance

Under the hood, the Galaxy S25 FE runs on the latest Exynos 2400, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Out of the box, it comes with One UI 8 based on Android 16, offering Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI features.

During our quick experience, the phone handled multitasking smoothly, and animations felt responsive. AI-driven features like Now Bar and Now Brief make navigating tasks more seamless, while Knox Enhanced Encryption Protection ensures user privacy is well-guarded.
Camera

Samsung has equipped the S25 FE with a triple-camera setup at the back:
- 50MP wide-angle main camera
- 12MP ultra-wide lens
- 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom
On the front, a 12MP selfie camera with upgraded low-light processing promises better portraits and clearer video calls. The new ProVisual Engine enhances AI-driven photography, and early shots show vibrant details with improved dynamic range compared to the previous generation.
Battery and Charging

The phone houses a 4,500mAh battery, which Samsung claims can easily last a full day, and also the largest capacity ever fitted within the FE series lineup. It supports 25W fast charging and wireless charging, keeping it in line with other premium Galaxy devices. While charging speeds aren’t the fastest in its segment, the efficiency of Samsung’s power management should deliver steady endurance.
Our First Verdict

The Galaxy S25 FE feels like a well-rounded package, combining Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI features, a strong camera system, and a stunning display all at a relatively more affordable price point compared to the main S25 series.
In Malaysia, the Galaxy S25 FE is priced from RM3,099, making it an appealing option for those who want flagship-level experiences without stretching their budget to Ultra levels.
Overall, our first impressions suggest that the S25 FE will likely become one of the most popular choices in Samsung’s lineup this year with some offerings included during the period of this article release.
