After Malaysian teams etched their names into esports history by clinching the Predator Shield in the inaugural tournament and again in its sixth edition earlier this year, the stage is now set for another thrilling campaign. Acer Malaysia has officially launched the local qualifiers for the Asia Pacific Predator League 2026, calling on the nation’s best teams to step forward.
With RM80,000 in prizes awaiting the top contenders in Dota 2 and VALORANT, the Malaysian finals this November will determine which squads will fly the Jalur Gemilang in India next January. There, they will go head-to-head with elite challengers from across 14 regions, all fighting for their share of the USD 400,000 prize pool and the prestigious Predator Shield.
The national finals, set for 15–16 November 2025 at Sunway Pyramid, promise an electrifying weekend filled with world-class esports action and national pride.
“Esports is more than competition — it’s a culture that unites players, fans, and communities,” said Andrew Hou, President of Acer Pan Asia Pacific. “With the Predator League, we continue to champion creativity, talent, and camaraderie in gaming. This year, we’re thrilled to see the teams who battle their way through qualifiers take the spotlight on the big stage in India.”
Since its inception in 2018, the Predator League has grown from just eight nations to over fifteen, becoming a launchpad for rising stars across Asia Pacific. To date, the tournament has awarded over USD 2.15 million in total prize money, cementing its role as one of the region’s premier esports events.
