Samsung Electronics is extending the reach of its One UI 8 beta program to more Galaxy devices, bringing its latest AI-powered mobile experience to a wider user base. Starting next week, users of the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6 in Korea, the U.S., the U.K., and India will be able to join the beta program.
First introduced with the Galaxy S25 series in May, One UI 8 enhances Samsung’s multimodal AI experience with smarter contextual awareness, seamless interaction, and productivity-boosting tools across foldables, smartphones, and wearables.
More Devices to Join the Beta Program
In September, even more Galaxy devices will gain access to the beta, including:
- Galaxy S23 series
- Galaxy Z Fold5 / Z Flip5
- Galaxy A36 5G / A55 5G / A35 5G / A54
Users can register for the beta through the Samsung Members app.
What’s New in One UI 8?
One UI 8 brings enhanced AI experiences that understand real-time context and adapt to your usage. When paired with Galaxy Buds3 or Buds3 Pro, users can activate Google Gemini via voice or with a long press on the earbuds, enabling convenient access to AI features.
Optimized for various screen sizes and use cases, One UI 8 introduces smarter suggestions, faster multitasking, and a more seamless Galaxy ecosystem experience.
Samsung will roll out the official version of One UI 8 starting in September, beginning with the Galaxy S25 series. One UI 8 Watch will also expand to more wearables later this year, bringing improved health insights and a more refined interface to additional Galaxy Watch models.
