Hisense Malaysia has reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare with a heartfelt Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at improving the lives of underprivileged children. As part of the effort, Hisense donated over RM24,000 worth of essential home appliances to eight children’s homes across Malaysia.

The initiative provided key appliances — including air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, televisions, and electric pressure cookers — to facilities caring for orphaned and vulnerable children. The selected beneficiaries included Trinity Community Children Home, Shelter Home for Children, Suriana Welfare Society, Rumah Hope, Lighthouse Children Welfare Home Association, Praise Emmanuel Children’s Home, Rumah Aman Children’s Home, and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kanak Kanak.

Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Derek Jin, Managing Director of Hisense Malaysia, said,

“At Hisense, giving back to the community is not just a responsibility — it’s a core part of who we are. We want to support the well-being of children by enhancing their daily environments with products that are made to improve everyday life. More than just donations, this initiative is about creating spaces where children can grow, feel safe, and dream bigger.”

Beyond the material support, Hisense Malaysia made personal visits to the homes, engaging with the children and staff to build genuine connections. These visits reflect the company’s broader mission to not only provide aid, but to also create lasting, positive change within the community.

This CSR effort underscores Hisense Malaysia’s long-term vision of corporate responsibility — using technology and innovation to uplift lives and create opportunities for a brighter future.
