Garmin Malaysia has introduced the Forerunner 165 Series, a line of affordable GPS running smartwatches designed to assist athletes of all levels in achieving their fitness goals. These latest additions to Garmin’s range of running smartwatches boast vibrant AMOLED displays and offer personalized adaptive training plans, advanced fitness metrics, wellness insights, and more. The Forerunner 165 and Forerunner 165 Music models feature easy-to-read full-color displays, responsive touchscreens, and a traditional 5-button design, providing access to everyday health features, advanced training metrics, recovery insights, and smart notifications. Both models boast impressive battery life, with up to 11 days in smartwatch mode and up to 19 hours in GPS mode.

Mr. Scoppen Lin, Assistant General Manager of Garmin Asia, expressed excitement about the launch, highlighting the Forerunner 165 Series’ ability to cater to runners of various levels. He emphasized the user-friendly nature of these smartwatches, which offer personalized training plans, advanced metrics, and 24/7 wellness monitoring to help users achieve their fitness goals.

The Forerunner 165 Series is equipped with a range of features to enhance the running experience, including AMOLED displays, race adaptive training plans, wrist-based running power and dynamics, training effect analysis, and more than 25 activity profiles. These smartwatches also offer comprehensive wellness tracking, including heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, stress tracking, and body battery energy monitoring.

In addition to fitness and wellness features, the Forerunner 165 Series provides connectivity options, allowing users to receive emails, texts, and alerts from their smartphones. Safety and tracking features provide peace of mind, with the ability to send messages to pre-selected emergency contacts in case of an incident. Users can also download apps and watch faces from the Connect IQ Store.

The Forerunner 165 is priced at RM1,290, while the Forerunner 165 Music is priced at RM1,550. Both models are available for purchase on various platforms, including Shopee, Lazada, AECO e-store, Garmin Brand Stores, and authorized retailers.

To celebrate the launch of the Forerunner 165, Garmin Malaysia has partnered with outdoor series ambassador Alif Satar for a community run on March 10th. Starting from Masjid Negara, the run aims to promote an active lifestyle and showcase the capabilities of the new running smartwatch.
