Outlook
Samsung made some of the changes, from the screen it incorporate a new flat design across all models, both front and back while reinforcing strength especially on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, where Samsung uses the new Titanium body, making it tougher yet still maintain the very same feeling of holding the highest range of flagship offering from Samsung.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24+ gets the flat design treatment as well, with the improved Armor Aluminum body and glass at the back followed by the slimmer bezels on all corners compared to the previous Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+.
Display side of things, all of Galaxy S24 series will get the Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120Hz screen with the Galaxy S24 Ultra and S24 + with QHD+ resolution while the normal S24 gets FHD+. Based on our observation and short interaction with the phone, the screen on all models can display good colors and contrast during the course of the preview. As a standard, all models will have dual speakers with selections pre-defined profiles and customized equalizer. The Galaxy S24 Ultra gets the new Corning gorilla armor glass while the Galaxy S24 and S24+ gets the Corning Gorilla Victus 3. IP68 ingress protection remains on all models.
Camera and AI Features
Specifically on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, the camera is improved on specs with a new Quad telephoto system, with 50MP Adaptive Pixel Sensor and can zoom up to 10X on the optical level, while the Galaxy S24 and S24+ gets 2X optical level zoom with the dual telephoto lens. All zoom levels are using high resolution Adaptive Pixel technology with Enhanced image quality of Digital zoom section between optical zoom. AI also plays a part here with deep learning, analyzing the images along the way.
The new Photo Editor highlights 4 new enhancements and features, Background Fill which allows the photo to fill in new background edges via AI identifying nearby colors and structures. Object Re-composition allows resizing of objects and subjects and refilling the background intelligently. Edit Suggestion suggest predefined options from object eraser to remove reflections, as well as remaster allowing the ease of use by just selecting any of the given options and the AI does the rest. Lastly is the Instant Slow-Mo which checks the video taken, analyze and suggestion points of moment suggested by the AI on timeframe that is best suitable for Slow Motion.

Circle to Search : By long pressing the HOME key, users can now activate circle to search by circling on object sighted on camera, or on your screen on your applications including the browser to initiate search that gives you the results from descriptions to shopping listings including price over the web, or information of the item, object, or subject in general.
Call Assist : This option enables calls to be translated live with voice two ways up to 13 languages almost an instant without internet/data connectivity and Samsung will still be adding new languages along the way. Among the notable languages supported : English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Korean, German, Italian, Chinese(Simplified), Japanese, Hindi, Polish, Thai, and Vietnamese.
Chat Translation : Enables on device direct translation on 13 languages including sending messages, replying messages and receiving messages two way, with only a single party using any of the S24 series phone. Major 3rd party apps including WhatsApp is supported.
Style & Grammar : Uses AI to determine a line of sentences and changes draft sentences or messages to 5 different tone of writing, Professional, Emoji, Casual, Social, and Polite.
Auto Formatting and Correction : As the title says, allowing handwriting and typed information including notes to the auto formatted and spelling fixed. Formatting can be selected if different options, with multiple language supported with translation.
Web Translation and Summarize : This feature can be used independently or combined with Samsung Internet browser, allowing a part or the whole webpage to be translated, summarize, or both at the same time with easy readable text format. Text translated or summarized can be copied and pasted to another app, such as Samsung Notes.
Key Notable Hardware and Performance Upgrades
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra : Notable upgrades includes the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 for Galaxy, giving it a performance efficiency up 20% compared to the previous Snapdragon 8 Gen2 for Galaxy. Apart from that the vapor chamber is also enlarged by close to 2x, allowing better performance sustenance before throttling. Samsung Galaxy S24 & Galaxy S24+ : Both of the model will be powered by the new Samsung Exynos 2400 SOC with 5G data capability, fallback to legacy network, faster by 20% compared to the previous Exynos 2200. This new SOC will also comes with the new Xclipse 940 GPU with AMD RDNA 3, with updated Ray Tracing performance with Shadow Rendering. Vapor chamber is also enlarged by close to 1.5x for S24 and 1.6x for S24+. LPDDR5X Memory solutions along with UFS 4.0 storage gives user fast access to apps and games. Additionally RAM expansion is also included as part of OneUI 6.1 feature with Android 14. Another notable upgrade is Galaxy S24+ gets a bump from 8GB RAM to 12GB of RAM.
