Today’s standards for the customer experience have significantly evolved over the last few years, regardless of whether a person is travelling through an airport, shopping in a physical store, or working from home.
Retailers have been forced to reevaluate how to provide value-added consumer experiences in stores that go beyond the convenience of online buying due to the expansion of e-commerce and digital interactions. Organisations strive to make working in the office a more collaborative and productive experience than working from home.

The growing demand from customers, whether external or internal, for a novel experience that is gratifying and sustainable over time, is highlighted by both scenarios. People prefer engaging interactions over ones that become monotonous for them.

“Display is a big part of transformation today where organizations are redefining customer experiences in a new digital world,”

said Leslie Goh, Regional Head of Display for Samsung Electronics in Southeast Asia & Oceania.

“At the center of new customer experiences lie compelling content and services presented on high-quality and connected visual displays. At a self-service bubble tea kiosk, a menu on digital signage offers engaging and real-time information to inspire a purchase. At work, an interactive and immersive display provides a parity of experiences for those present both physically and virtually. This is why the Pro AV market in this region continues to be an exciting one where organizations have the urgency to transform their display strategies.”

Our Display Ecosystems

Samsung has been collaborating with a wide range of partners in Southeast Asia and Oceania (SEAO) to envision and create the next generation of premium display experiences for the workplace, at home, in retail establishments, in expansive outdoor settings, in hospitals, and in many other places. Visual Feats at InfoComm Asia 2023

Samsung collaborated with regional partners to demonstrate the latest professional audio-visual experiences catering to back-of-house needs as well as consumers seeking more rewarding encounters with businesses at the recent InfoComm Asia 2023 event.

Creston, a global leader in control systems for managing audio-visual environments ranging from workplaces to meeting rooms, hotel rooms, and homes, emphasised how organisations can hold dynamic meetings in a variety of settings, including personal huddles, meeting rooms, and open office spaces.

To give a smooth, seamless image for open office spaces, Samsung provided a VH55R-R video wall with four displays with razor-thin bezels. Its wide viewing angles also allow for clear presentation to a larger number of viewers in huge environments.

Creston used Samsung’s QMB and QMR series digital signage displays in the huddle and meeting rooms. These panels have a Quantum Processor 4K, a sleek and symmetrical design, and dynamic colour to create true-to-life variations that allow users to notice every delicacy and perform productive meetings and presentations.

Aside from workplaces, immersive customer experiences were a major focus at the InfoComm Asia 2023 event. HARMAN, a Samsung subsidiary, linked several Samsung visual displays to their audio systems, demonstrating seamless connectivity and impactful consumer experiences.

The centrepiece was a Samsung The Wall All-In-One (AIO) that displayed a brand video for HARMAN’s JBL-branded goods, illustrating how the 146-inch display’s deep black background and Ultra Chroma technology enable stunning graphics.

It is also significantly easier to install, with predefined modules costing only two hours to set up1. The Autoconfiguration setup of the Wall AIO significantly shortened the time required to get the display up and running, allowing HARMAN to focus on impressing guests with its video content.

Samsung is committed to developing revolutionary display solutions with its ecosystem of partners and EBCs to fulfill the rising expectations and aspirations of our digital-native lives. Every day, whether at work or at play, Samsung Display Solutions have a positive impact on the valuable relationships between people.
