SQUARE ENIX® has published a free consumer demo for FINAL FANTASY®XVI, the newest solo chapter in the critically renowned FINAL FANTASY genre, ahead of its highly anticipated June 22 release date for PlayStation®5 (PS5) platforms.

FINAL FANTASY XVI Producer Naoki Yoshida stated during the FINAL FANTASY XVI Pre-Launch Celebration that the FINAL FANTASY XVI Demo would provide fans interested in beginning the journey early access to the opening prologue, with saved progress transferring over to the full game following its release. Take control of Clive Rosfield from the start of his epic story and discover about his aims and objectives as he undergoes a sad occurrence that sends him on a dark and hazardous path of vengeance. Completing the prologue unlocks a special fighting demo with multiple skills, allowing players to get into intense encounters and test out a broad assortment of lethal strikes and combinations.
A new trailer, named “ASCENSION,” was also shown. The teaser gave fans a better idea of what they can anticipate from the high-octane action-RPG.

SQUARE ENIX also debuted a short video named “Requiem” at the event in collaboration with creative firm Anomaly. The three-minute, thirty-second video is directed by Diego Contreras and incorporates real actors as well as a stirring music produced by the game’s Composer Masayoshi Soken, which helps to bring the game’s immersive plot to life.
