Hisense Highlights Technology Innovation for Healthier Living
Hisense ASEAN President Clara Chang highlighted the company’s focus on technology innovation and healthier living at the 17th FutureChina Global Forum in Singapore.
As consumers increasingly look beyond basic appliance functions, Hisense is focusing on technologies designed to improve everyday living. Its latest innovations span entertainment, food storage, water and ice hygiene, air quality and laundry care.
Advancing Home Entertainment with RGB MiniLED
Hisense’s RGB MiniLED display technology combines independently controlled red, green and blue backlighting with advanced colour and brightness management.
The company says the technology delivers more natural colour reproduction, smoother gradations and improved detail in bright and dark areas, helping create a more immersive viewing experience for movies, sports and other content.
Health-Focused Refrigerator Technology
Hisense is also extending its health-focused approach to the kitchen.
Its Advanced UV Ice & Water Treatment Technology uses UV sterilisation within the ice and water system, while supporting options such as chilled water, crushed ice and crescent ice.
For food storage, All Zone Purify Plus provides purification across both refrigerator and freezer compartments. Hi-NANO active purification and Fresh+ technology are designed to help maintain a cleaner storage environment for fresh and frozen food.
The company’s health-oriented technologies also extend to other appliances, including Hi-NANO air conditioning and Healthy Water washing technology.
Building for ASEAN Consumers
Hisense says understanding local markets remains central to its global expansion strategy. Through its “Local for Local” approach, the company adapts products and operations to regional climates, lifestyles and consumer needs while expanding local manufacturing, R&D, sales and service capabilities.
Hisense now operates 32 R&D centres, 41 industrial parks and manufacturing bases, and 65 overseas companies and offices. The company is also expanding its ASEAN presence, including through its Thailand HHA Smart Manufacturing Industrial Park, which began construction in September 2025.
Looking ahead, Hisense plans to further strengthen its presence in ASEAN while expanding beyond consumer appliances into areas such as B2B technology solutions.
The company said it will continue developing products around consumer needs while combining technology innovation with local market expertise.
