Well, as usual the time has come and we have gotten some first looks and some of the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Z Series along with some accessories that is announced on the Galaxy Unpacked July 2024.
The Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Fold6
At the first glance, both of the phone looks much boxier on all angles while the all round base design is still looking similar from the predecessor, however there is some key changes that keep it up to date. First off the phones are upgraded with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 for Galaxy (which is a slightly overclocked version of the SD8 G3). Another bump is the display, where the Galaxy Z Fold6 front cover display is now at 6.3 inch which is slightly bigger by a tiny bit with better PPI density and smaller chin bezels over the screen. Other than that the rest remains the same with a 4400Mah battery, same size over the inner display and Camera configurations remains very similar with updated OneUI 6.1 that brings in Galaxy AI features.
The Galaxy Flip6 specifically gets some changes over the design, while the dimensions on the displays, whether it is the cover screen or the inner screen, remains the same however design wise, it does look more attractive this time with the rear camera gets a minor makeover where it gets the matching lens ring color along same as the color of the phone chosen. Other than that, you will still get the latest Android 14 with OneUI 6.1 with new features like Photo Ambient, more widgets and Galaxy AI. The battery gets a noticeable bump up to 4000Mah which will definitely makes the Flip6 goes longer on runtime usage and better battery life, in part along with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 for Galaxy SOC. As a base, the Galaxy Z Flip6 has the RAM finally bumped up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM from the previous 8GB of RAM.
Galaxy Watch7 and Watch Ultra
This time around, there is no multiple variants of the Watch7, but instead, you will only have two on this year’s lineup. So far there is no mention on the classic version as well so we can safely say that there is no Classic Variant. Both model will come with the new Exynos W1000 SOC.
The Watch7 comes in two display sizes, 40mm and 44mm, with 5ATM water resistance rating. The BioActive Sensor remains as part of the main features of the watch which covers Sleep monitoring, Heart Health with ECG, BP HR, and comes with combines routine mode, Fitness mode, Double pinch gesture for take a pic, play and pause music, take a picture and an improved suggested reply mode, which is part of the Galaxy AI feature.
As for the Galaxy Watch Ultra, some of the features that remains different from the standard Watch7 is the titanium grade 4 outer case, 10ATM water resistance rating, IP68, up to 3000nits of peak brightness when set to automatic mode and enhance bioactive sensors. The Watch7 Pro can last up to 100 hours of battery usage time.
Galaxy Buds3 and Buds3 Pro
The Galaxy Buds3 and Buds3 Pro breaks away from the previous generation casing design, giving it a fresh new looks, but among that, new features has been added such as IP57 dust and water resistant, real time interpreter mode with touch control, Adaptive EQ and ANC, Mic sound monitoring, Siren detection, Ultra High Quality Audio 96Khz, dual amp, enhanced 2 way SPK range up to 40khz, adaptive ambient sound.
