Infinix has introduced its groundbreaking E-Color Shift technology at CES 2024. This innovative technology allows mobile phone panels to change and maintain vibrant colors without consuming power. In addition to E-Color Shift, Infinix also showcased its AirCharge and Extreme-Temp Battery concept devices, aiming to bring the latest advancements to the mobile industry.

The E-Color Shift Technology from Infinix has received the Omdia Innovation Award at ShowStoppers CES 2024 in the ‘Audio Technologies, Mobile Communications, and Home Entertainment Hardware’ category. This technology enables extensive customization of the smartphone back panel, allowing users to personalize up to 60 customizable areas on the hardware, with each area supporting various colors. The microstructures in the E-Color Shift technology use color particles with positive and negative charges, allowing the phone’s shell to change ‘skins’ without consuming power.

Infinix’s AirCharge technology employs multi-coil magnetic resonance and adaptive algorithms for wireless charging up to 20 cm and at 60-degree angles. With safety measures such as frequencies below 6.78 MHz and 7.5W power delivery, AirCharge facilitates convenient charging even under desks during activities like gaming or watching videos.

Addressing the challenge of mobile phone battery failure in extreme cold, Infinix introduced the Extreme-Temp Battery. This innovative battery, utilizing biomimetic electrolyte and fusion solid-state technology, operates seamlessly in temperatures as low as -40°C. The Extreme-Temp Battery offers charging capabilities from -40°C to 60°C, ensuring reliable performance and endurance in chilly environments.

Infinix has also launched its ‘Infinix Carpool Show,’ where tech and lifestyle influencers explore upcoming mobile charging technologies and experience innovations firsthand on their way to CES 2024. The series will be unveiled on Infinix’s official global social media platforms during CES week. Liang Zhang, Deputy General Manager at Infinix Mobility, expressed the brand’s commitment to providing user-centric solutions for Gen Z consumers, emphasizing the exploration of customization possibilities and individual expression through innovative technologies.
