Infinix Malaysia congratulates the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia (MPL MY) champions, HomeBois, for their outstanding success this past weekend. HomeBois won their first MPL MY title, making it a historic occasion in esports history. Since the commencement of the MPL Malaysia Season 12, Infinix Malaysia has collaborated with HomeBois.
“Infinix Malaysia is thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the extraordinary HomeBois on their historic MPL Malaysia Season 12 victory. From our partnership’s inception, we’ve witnessed their remarkable journey, and we’re thrilled to stand by their side. This triumph is a reflection of their unwavering dedication and hard work which paves the way for their representation on the global stage at the M5 World Championship. HomeBois, you’ve made history, and we’re excited to be part of your path to greatness,” said Carmen Yong, Marketing and GTM Director of Infinix Malaysia.
HomeBois exhibited resilience and competence by earning the championship in a tightly contested battle against Team SMG, who had been back-to-back grand finals and one-time champions. Despite a 3-1 disadvantage, HomeBois fought and won, demonstrating their commitment and excellent performance.
HomeBois’ path to greatness has been nothing short of incredible, especially following their debut in MPL MY Season 7, when they finished 7th/8th. Last season, they were on the verge of winning the championship but were halted by Team SMG, ending in a third-place finish. This season, HomeBois has triumphed, demonstrating their progress and commitment.
“HomeBois is honored to have Infinix Malaysia as our steadfast partner throughout this incredible journey. This victory means the world to us, and it proves how much we have grown since the last season. We’re excited to represent Malaysia on the global stage at the M5 World Championship and will continue to strive for excellence and continue to make our nation proud. The best is yet to come, and we’re ready to embrace the future with determination and skill,” said Nureddy Nursal (DaddyHood), Founder of Homebois.
HomeBois’ triumph guarantees them a coveted position in the famous M5 World Championship, which will be held in the Philippines from December 2nd to December 17th. HomeBois will proudly represent Malaysia against the world’s finest esports teams after qualifying for the M5 World Championship.
