Samsung Malaysia Electronics today announced the availability of its new microSD card, the Samsung PRO Endurance at Lazada, Shopee and participating Samsung Authorized Dealers nationwide.
The card offers better durability and great performance for smooth and reliable continuous capture and playback. It is specifically developed to fulfil the demanding requirements of surveillance cameras, dashboard cameras, doorbell cameras, body cameras, and more.
“From CCTV to doorbell cameras, the need for long-lasting and high-performing video surveillance solutions is continuing to increase, and the PRO Endurance has been designed to support that demand,” said KyuYoung Lee, Vice President of the Memory Brand Product Biz Team at Samsung Electronics. “Both consumers and enterprise users can rest assured that our new memory card will ensure continuous recording at high resolution even under extreme conditions.”
Strengthened Endurance
The PRO Endurance card can deliver up to 16 years (140,160 hours) of continuous recording time thanks to Samsung’s very reliable enterprise-grade NAND flash memory, ensuring that every crucial moment is recorded. Because of this, a single PRO Endurance card may outlast up to 33 regular speed-focused cards, saving money on frequent replacement costs and enhancing the reliability of always-on video monitoring.
Improved Performance
The new memory card from Samsung also has read and write speeds of up to 100 megabytes per second (MB/s) and 40 MB/s, respectively, and is classified as Class 10 with video speed ratings of up to U3 (UHS Speed Class 3) and V30 (Video Speed Class 30). This makes it perfect for processing massive, high-resolution files while supporting Full HD and 4K recording and playback.
Long-Lasting Durability
Because outdoor surveillance and body cameras are frequently exposed to harsh environments, the PRO Endurance has been designed to provide reliable performance in everyday usage with Samsung’s reinforced six-proof durability. The card is now wearout-proof and drop-proof, in addition to being resistant to water, magnets, X-rays, and extreme temperatures.
