OPPO Malaysia has made history by securing a Malaysia Book of Records title for the Largest Balloon Drop Event, achieved during the OPPO Reno15 Series Opening Roadshow held from 13 to 18 January 2026 at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya.
Inspired by the Reno15 Series’ vibrant Aurora design, the highlight of the roadshow saw 6,000 balloons released in a single drop, officially recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records. The visually striking activation transformed the venue into a celebration of colour and creativity, while visitors also enjoyed surprise rewards hidden within selected balloons.
The milestone celebration centred on the OPPO Reno15 Series, built to elevate everyday creativity through intelligent imaging and smart software experiences. Key highlights include a 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera for effortless group shots, 3.5x Telephoto Vibe Portrait for expressive photography, and AI Motion Photo Popout for creating dynamic, share-ready visuals. Running on ColorOS 16, the series also introduces intuitive features such as AI MindSpace, helping users organise schedules and stay focused throughout the day.
Following the successful roadshow, the OPPO Reno15 Series is now available nationwide, with limited-time promotions running until 28 February 2026 at OPPO Brand Stores and authorised retailers. Customers will receive complimentary gifts, including OPPO Enco Air 4 and OPPO Enco Buds3 Pro, with selected purchases.
