Hisense Malaysia, a global leader in consumer electronics and home appliances, successfully hosted the “Own the Game, Own the Moment” University Campus Cup 2025, a friendly inter-university football tournament held on 6 July at UM Arena Stadium.

The event was organised in conjunction with the FIFA season, during which Hisense continues its role as an Official Partner of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™. The tournament reflects the brand’s commitment to promoting sports engagement and supporting young talents at the grassroots level. Designed as a friendly competition, it provided a platform for university students to connect, compete, and celebrate their passion for football in an inclusive environment.

Known for its long-standing partnerships with major sporting events and clubs—including the FIFA World Cup™, UEFA EURO, and collaborations across basketball, motorsports, and esports—Hisense consistently works to bring fans closer to the game through smart technology and innovation. The company’s mission to help fans ‘Own the Moment’ was brought to life both on and off the field.

The tournament featured spirited competition between four leading universities in the Klang Valley: University Malaya (UM), Sunway University, International Medical University (IMU), and Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT). Each team brought determination and campus pride to the pitch.

University Malaya emerged as the tournament champion, followed by IMU, Sunway University, and TAR UMT. Throughout the day, students demonstrated exceptional teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship.

To further energise the crowd, Hisense also hosted a lucky draw session for spectators, with prizes including the Hisense Soundbar HS2100 for lucky winners.
