HONOR Malaysia has achieved a major milestone with the grand opening of its 100th retail store at the prestigious Suria KLCC on 28 June 2025, marking a significant chapter in its journey since entering the Malaysian market in 2019. The occasion also coincides with HONOR’s celebration of four years of growth, innovation, and consumer trust in Malaysia.

A Landmark Celebration in the Heart of KL

The store launch attracted a strong turnout of shoppers and tourists eager to explore HONOR’s latest tech line-up, including the HONOR 400 Series, MagicBook Pro 14, Pad 10, Watch 5 Ultra, and Band 10. Visitors also got a first-hand look at Malaysia’s first-ever Cross-OS Connectivity feature, allowing seamless interaction between the HONOR 400 Series and Apple devices such as iPhones and iPads.

“Opening our 100th store at such a prestigious location is a proud moment for all of us at HONOR. It reflects our dedication to Malaysian consumers and their unwavering support. We’re committed to further growth, bringing innovation that meets users’ real-world needs,” said Justin Li, President of HONOR South Pacific.

Leading the Mid-Premium Smartphone Market in Malaysia

Over the past four years, HONOR has rapidly emerged as a serious contender in the premium and mid-premium smartphone segment. With flagship models like the HONOR Magic V3, the brand now competes directly with industry giants such as Apple and Samsung.

“According to third-party data, HONOR now leads the mid-premium smartphone segment in Malaysia. For smartphones priced between RM1,500 and RM3,000, one out of every four devices sold is an HONOR phone,” said Li.

Strategic Investment: RM10 Million Per Year into Retail Expansion

As part of its long-term strategy, HONOR Malaysia will invest RM10 million annually into expanding its retail presence and modernizing in-store experiences. This includes the introduction of interactive product zones, smart technologies, and immersive customer engagement areas aimed at enhancing brand experience across the country.

A Strong Focus on After-Sales Service

In tandem with product excellence, HONOR also places a high priority on after-sales support. Known for having one of the lowest repair rates in the industry, the brand continues to invest in its service network.

Since the opening of its first service center in 2022, HONOR has expanded to 18 centers, with 3 more on the way. By end-2025, HONOR aims to have 22 to 25 official service locations—solidifying its position as the tech brand with the largest service center footprint in Malaysia.

“We recognize that great products need great support. That’s why we’re focused not just on innovation, but also on improving our post-purchase service experience,” added Li.

Special Launch Offer at Suria KLCC

To commemorate this major retail milestone, the first 100 walk-in customers to the HONOR Experience Store at Suria KLCC received limited-edition gifts and exclusive discounts. Attendees also enjoyed hands-on time with flagship products like the HONOR Magic7 Pro and the latest foldable devices at the Product Experience Zones.
