One year after the launch of Snapdragon X Series Platforms, Qualcomm is solidifying its position at the center of the AI-powered PC revolution. In his keynote at COMPUTEX, Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano Amon reflected on the platform’s rapid progress and previewed what’s next as AI becomes the new interface for computing.

Redefining the PC Experience with Snapdragon

Snapdragon X Series has reshaped the Windows PC landscape, delivering unmatched performance and multi-day battery life. This milestone marks one of the most significant product launches in Qualcomm’s 40-year history. “Microsoft and Qualcomm have a long history of partnership,” said Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella during the keynote. “Copilot+ PCs are transforming productivity and creativity.”

With over 85 devices launched or in development, and 100+ designs expected next year, Snapdragon X Series is scaling across price points and form factors—empowering users with AI-accelerated experiences in work, creativity, and play.

AI Is the New UI

The Snapdragon X Series isn’t just about performance—it’s about enabling on-device AI. Qualcomm now supports 750+ applications, including 200 of the world’s most popular apps, and over 1,400 games, with Fortnite joining the platform later this year.

AI is becoming the new user interface. Snapdragon X Series delivers the power for real-time, agentic AI to assist with everyday tasks across productivity, media, and communication—directly on the device, without relying solely on the cloud.

Expanding the AI Ecosystem

Qualcomm is also driving the future of hybrid AI, combining edge and cloud intelligence. Announced at COMPUTEX, Qualcomm is working with NVIDIA to integrate its custom CPU technology with NVIDIA’s AI stack, bringing advanced efficiency to the data center alongside mobile, PC, smart glasses, and automotive platforms.

What’s Next

With Snapdragon X Series at the core of AI-powered computing, Qualcomm is leading the way toward a smarter, more connected future. Stay tuned for the Snapdragon Summit this fall, where new updates will reveal how Snapdragon is once again set to transform the PC experience.
