Samsung Electronics has announced the release of Gemini Live, a new AI-powered feature that brings real-time visual assistance to the Galaxy S25 series. Rolling out from April 7, the update is available free of charge to all Galaxy S25 users.

Gemini Live marks a leap forward in mobile AI, enabling users to interact with their device more naturally and visually. By simply pressing and holding the side button, users can activate Gemini Live to see through the camera or via screen sharing, making AI-powered assistance more intuitive and conversational.

See What You See, in Real Time

Whether you’re deciding what to wear, decluttering your home, or shopping online, Gemini Live acts like a visual co-pilot. Point your phone’s camera at your wardrobe, and Gemini Live can suggest outfit combinations or tips for better organisation. Browse an online store, and the assistant can offer real-time, personalised fashion advice, making everyday decisions faster and smarter.

“Together with Google, we are marking a bold step toward the future of mobile AI, delivering smarter interactions that are deeply in sync with how we live, work and communicate,” said Jay Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Experience Office, Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics. “With this new visual capability, the Galaxy S25 series brings next-generation AI experiences to life, setting new standards for how users engage with the world through their devices.”

Smarter Assistance, Seamless Experience

Gemini Live is designed to understand what users see and need in real time. The update enhances the Galaxy S25 series’ position as a leader in on-device AI, continuing Samsung’s push to integrate meaningful intelligence into the daily lives of its users.

The Gemini Live update with camera and screen sharing features starts rolling out from April 7. It’s available to all Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra users via standard software update.
