Malaysian micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), brands, and affiliate creators saw a significant surge in performance on TikTok Shop during this year’s Raikan Raya 2025 campaign, with sales more than doubling compared to non-campaign periods.
Driving this success was the platform’s growing ecosystem of over 3 million affiliate creators and 1.7 million local sellers, creating a diverse and dynamic environment that fuelled massive consumer engagement. The average order volume per customer more than doubled, while year-over-year (YoY) sales for brands on TikTok Shop Mall outpaced platform-wide growth by 1.2x.
Top-performing categories included Muslim Fashion, Beauty & Personal Care, and Food & Beverages—highlighting the importance of cultural relevance and seasonal demand in shaping consumer behaviour.
