Built to deliver unparalleled personalization and intuitive interactions, One UI 7 integrates advanced AI agents and multimodal features into every aspect of the user experience. The beta program offers a preview of Samsung’s vision for a scalable, AI-first mobile ecosystem.
AI Features for Intuitive User Experiences
One UI 7 introduces enhanced Galaxy AI capabilities, empowering users with productivity tools like advanced writing assistance. New features allow text to be selected and summarized without switching between apps. Integrated AI-powered tools can:
- Summarize content.
- Check spelling and grammar.
- Automatically format notes into bullet points.
Upgraded call features take communication to the next level with call transcripts available in 20 supported languages. These transcripts are automatically generated for recorded calls, eliminating the need for manual note-taking during multitasking.

Introducing the Now Bar
The Now Bar brings relevant activities such as Interpreter, Music, Stopwatch, and Recording directly to the lock screen. By streamlining access to notifications, it reduces the need to unlock the device, offering effortless engagement with important information. The feature will be supported on upcoming Galaxy S series devices and will evolve with more intelligent functionalities over time.
Streamlined Interfaces for Everyday Use
- Simplified Home Screen and Widgets: Redesigned for seamless customization and effortless navigation.
- Camera UX Redesign: Controls and modes have been reorganized for easier access. Pro and Pro Video modes now feature a simplified manual settings layout and a new zoom control for smooth transitions during video recording.
Gradual Rollout and Future Updates
The official release of One UI 7 will coincide with the launch of new Galaxy S series devices in Q1 2025, featuring additional on-device AI capabilities. Other Galaxy devices will receive the update in line with Samsung’s extended OS upgrade policy.
