LG Electronics (LG) has kicked off an exciting new marketing campaign with the Boom Boom Pow Festa, a global music festival celebrating the power and style of its LG XBOOM speakers. The event is centered around the iconic Black Eyed Peas’ hit song, “Boom Boom Pow”, a party anthem that topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for 12 consecutive weeks in 2009. As part of this vibrant festival, street performers and rising music stars from nine different countries will reimagine the legendary track, with performances powered by LG’s XBOOM party speakers.
Widely recognized as a modern classic, “Boom Boom Pow” has been a favorite at parties worldwide, with its energetic beats and booming bass. In this event, street performers will deliver their unique renditions of the song in stunning locations around the globe, enhanced by the dynamic sound of LG XBOOM speakers. Brazil’s rising star, Delacruz, will perform at Rio de Janeiro’s iconic Escadaria Selarón, adding to the festival’s global appeal.
These performances will be streamed live on the LG Global YouTube channel on October 6 at 01:00 KST, in a special 45-minute virtual concert. Audiences can also catch behind-the-scenes footage, showcasing the creative process and exploring the impressive sound quality of LG XBOOM.
Additionally, the “Boom Boom Pow” dance challenge will expand the fun to TikTok, where participants can join popular creators to showcase their best dance moves, capturing the explosive energy of LG XBOOM speakers.
Throughout the campaign, different models of LG XBOOM speakers will take center stage, each offering unique features. The LG XBOOM XL9T, for example, is a powerful tower speaker with dual 8-inch woofers and Pixel LED Lighting for synchronized light shows, while the LG XBOOM Go XG8T and XG2T are portable speakers designed for durability and long-lasting performance, with over 10 hours of playback and IP67 ratings for dust and water resistance.
