Jotun, a leading paint brand, has unveiled a new property maintenance program aimed at helping buildings remain robust and aesthetically appealing. This program offers comprehensive services, including assessment, defect identification, and maintenance tips, with a goal of reducing long-term costs and preserving a property’s appearance.

One of the key offerings of this program is strategic repainting, which enhances the marketability of properties by refreshing their look or maintaining their unique identity. A well-maintained façade can boost occupancy rates and increase property values. To address the challenge of inspecting hard-to-reach areas, Jotun has introduced its latest innovation, the Jotun Eagle Eye Building Inspection.

The Jotun Eagle Eye Drone employs advanced thermal imaging and high-definition cameras to detect structural irregularities and hidden defects that are often missed during traditional inspections. The drone provides detailed analyses, identifying moisture patterns, insulation issues, and other concerns, enabling property owners to address problems before they escalate.

Another significant advantage of the Eagle Eye Drone is that it eliminates the risks associated with human inspections at high altitudes, ensuring worker safety. The drones can easily access complex structures, and property owners save costs by avoiding expensive scaffolding.

In addition to pre-application diagnostics with the Eagle Eye Drone, Jotun’s program offers end-to-end services, including color consultations and post-application inspections. A maintenance manual is provided to property owners for ongoing care.

Jotun has already begun implementing this service in collaboration with Sunway Group, using the Eagle Eye Drone to inspect the external facades of the Sunway Resort Hotel, Sunway Pyramid Mall, and other properties. Jason Chin Teck Seng, Senior General Manager at Sunway, praised Jotun’s approach, highlighting how the partnership aligns with Sunway’s dedication to excellence in property maintenance.

As part of its property care solutions, Jotun also offers its Jotashield Infinity exterior paint, which provides superior durability, color performance, and dirt resistance. Other products in the Jotashield range include Jotashield Ultra Clean, which features AntiDirt Technology, and Jotashield AntiFade Colours, which ensure long-lasting vibrancy against harsh weather conditions.

Heng Ke Wei, Marketing Manager of Jotun Malaysia & Singapore, emphasized the company’s goal of becoming more than just a paint provider by offering comprehensive services that meet the evolving needs of property owners. The partnership with Sunway Group is just the beginning, as Jotun aims to be a trusted partner in property maintenance across the industry.
