OPPO has officially announced the winners of its second annual imagine IF Photography Awards, a global competition recognizing excellence in mobile photography. This year’s competition, which launched in January and closed for submissions in July, attracted over 1 million entries from 81 countries. Notably, China, India, Mexico, Colombia, and Egypt ranked among the top five in submissions. The winning works will be showcased at Paris Photo, the world’s largest international art fair, in November.
“Exceptional photographs can capture cherished emotions, even in the most ordinary moments, and transform them into timeless memories,” said Pete Lau, Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer of OPPO. Alec Soth, renowned member of Magnum Photos and one of the competition’s judges, added, “Photography is an art form that combines various techniques, evoking emotions and resonating with power.”
