Samsung unveiled the new Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra, expanding the reach of Galaxy AI through wearables designed to provide comprehensive wellness experiences for everyone.

Galaxy Watch7: Comprehensive Understanding of Everyday Wellness

The Galaxy Watch7 is designed to offer a holistic understanding of health and wellness, motivating users to create healthier habits with over 100 workout tracking options and intelligent health monitoring capabilities. Notable features include:

  • Body Composition: Provides a complete body and fitness snapshot.
  • Heart Rate Monitoring: Real-time readings and alerts for abnormal heart rates.
  • Electrocardiogram (ECG) and Blood Pressure (BP) Monitoring: Offers a deeper understanding of heart health.
  • Advanced Sleep Analysis: Uses a new AI algorithm for better sleep insights.

The Galaxy Watch7 introduces an enhanced BioActive Sensor for increased accuracy and is the first to offer AGEs Index tracking, reflecting overall biological aging and metabolic health. Powered by a 3nm processor, it delivers a seamless experience with improved power efficiency. It also features Dual-frequency GPS for precise location tracking in urban environments.

Design-wise, the Galaxy Watch7 maintains Samsung’s iconic circle design and comes with customizable watch bands and faces. Intelligent Suggested replies and Double Pinch Gestures improve user interaction, while Samsung Wallet integrates payments and digital IDs for convenience. Available in 40mm (Green, Cream) and 44mm (Green, Silver).

Galaxy Watch Ultra: Maximizing Passionate Performance

Building on the Galaxy Watch7, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is designed for high-performance and extreme durability with features like:

  • Titanium Grade 4 Frame: Ensures durability and 10ATM water resistance.
  • Altitude Range: Operates from 500 meters below sea level to 9,000 meters high.
  • Multi-Sports Tile: Tracks triathlon activities (swimming, cycling, running).
  • Functional Threshold Power (FTP): Measures maximum cycling power with AI-powered metrics.
  • Personalized HR Zone: Optimizes workout intensity based on physical capabilities.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra includes a Quick Button for instant workout control and an Emergency Siren for safety. It also features dedicated watch faces that switch to Night Mode for optimal readability and peak brightness of 3,000 nits for visibility in sunlight. The watch boasts the longest battery life in the Galaxy Watch lineup, with up to 100 hours in Power Saving and 48 hours in Exercise Power Saving. Available in 47mm size (Dark Gray, Titanium, White).

Availability

The Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra will be available for pre-order in Malaysia starting July 10, 2024, with general availability beginning July 24, 2024.
