Earlier this year, Samsung launched the era of mobile AI with Galaxy AI. With the new Galaxy Z series, Samsung is opening a new chapter, utilizing its foldable design to unlock unique mobile experiences. Whether using the large screen of the Galaxy Z Fold, the FlexWindow of the Galaxy Z Flip, or the iconic FlexMode, these devices maximize AI capabilities. Design and Durability
The latest Galaxy Z series is the slimmest and lightest ever, optimized for portability with a sleek symmetrical design and straight edges. The Galaxy Z Fold6 features a new cover screen ratio for a natural bar-type viewing experience, and both models offer enhanced durability. The dual rail hinge structure and strengthened folding edge distribute impact shock better, while enhanced layers on the main screen improve the crease and maintain strength. The series also includes Armor Aluminum and Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2 for added durability.
Performance
Both Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 are powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, the most advanced Snapdragon processor, optimized for AI processing, enhanced graphics, and improved overall performance. The upgraded cooling system maximizes performance with a larger vapor chamber on the Fold6 and, for the first time, a vapor chamber on the Flip6.
Galaxy Z Fold6: Productivity Elevated by AI
The Galaxy Z Fold6 offers a range of AI-powered features designed to maximize the large screen and enhance productivity:
- Note Assist: Provides translation, summaries, and auto-formatting for meeting notes.
- Transcription: Transcribes, translates, and summarizes voice recordings directly in Notes.
- PDF Overlay Translation: Perfectly overlays translations on PDF text, images, and graphs.
- Composer: Generates suggested text based on keywords for emails and social media posts, analyzing previous posts to reflect your tone.
- Sketch to Image: Generates image options from sketches or drawings on photos in the Gallery or Note screen.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 also enhances work and play with Google Gemini integration, providing an AI-powered assistant for writing, learning, and planning, fully integrated with Google apps.
Galaxy Z Flip6: Customized Experiences
The Galaxy Z Flip6 offers new customization and creativity features with its enhanced 3.4-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow:
- Suggested Replies: Analyzes messages to suggest tailored responses.
- Widgets and Samsung Health: Provides updates, notifications, and music control.
- AI-powered Photo Ambient: Changes wallpaper in real-time based on time and weather.
- FlexCam: Offers versatile camera experiences with Auto Zoom, 50MP wide, and 12MP ultra-wide sensors.
Galaxy Buds3 Series: Enhanced by Galaxy AI
The Galaxy Buds3 series expands the connected experience with Galaxy AI:
- Interpreter in Listening Mode: Translates lectures directly through the earbuds.
- Voice Command: Controls functions like playing or stopping music.
- Adaptive Noise Control and ANC: Optimizes sound and noise cancellation in real-time.
The Galaxy Buds3 Pro features advanced hardware, including 2-way speakers with a planar tweeter and dual amplifiers, supporting Ultra High Quality Audio for a premium sound experience. The series also focuses on sustainability, using recycled materials in the cradle and earbuds, and packaging made from 100% recycled paper.
Availability
The Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, and Galaxy Buds3 series will be available for pre-order starting today, July 10, 2024, with general availability beginning July 24, 2024.
