LG Electronics has unveiled the LG CLOi ServeBot (model LDLIM31), an autonomous service robot designed to enhance delivery services in hospitality and healthcare. The CLOi ServeBot features a four-door design with ample storage, capable of performing repetitive delivery tasks to ease the workload of busy staff.

This latest addition to LG’s AI robot lineup supports the company’s B2B expansion plans in delivery and logistics services. Initially launched in South Korea, the CLOi ServeBot will soon be available in North America and Asia. For more details, visit LG.com.

  • Four-Door Design: Provides substantial interior storage with four compartments, each holding up to 30kg. Adjustable shelving accommodates various item sizes, with space for up to 32 standard coffee cups.
  • Autonomous Navigation: Utilizes AI algorithms to navigate obstacles, determine optimal routes, and communicate with up to 20 other ServeBots to prevent collisions.
  • Independent Suspension: Six wheels with independent suspension ensure stable transportation over uneven surfaces, minimizing spillage.
  • Elevator Usage: Capable of using elevators to move between floors in indoor environments.
  • Automatic Doors: Doors can open and close automatically, with camera sensors detecting when items are removed.
  • 10.1-inch Display: Front-facing display for mobile advertising, with content managed via LG CLOi Station or CMS mobile app.
  • Voice Guidance: Escorts customers and provides voice guidance for visually impaired users.
  • Real-Time Monitoring: Users can monitor the robot’s status and manage tasks through the LG CLOi Station.

The CLOi ServeBot has earned accolades from the Red Dot Design Award 2024 and iF Design Award 2024 for its innovative design. LG plans to continue developing versatile robot solutions to streamline operations across various sectors, including airports, hotels, hospitals, and warehouses.
